ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY….
At Iron Mountain, we are looking for a passionate and highly logical Data Engineer, able to easily adapt to new technologies. This role focuses on collecting, processing, and analyzing business and other types of data to facilitate strategic decision making on a global level. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with teams from different countries, and will have the opportunity to design and optimize ETL processes in the cloud, primarily using Google Cloud. If you have a strong focus on quality and scalability of solutions, as well as experience in SQL and data visualization, we would love to meet you!
RESPONSIBILITIES…..
Design and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information from various sources.
Create and manage ETL processes using cloud tools (primarily Google Cloud) to structure and transform data.
Collaborate with teams from different departments and countries, providing reports and visualizations in tools such as Looker Studio and especially Tableau, with a focus on business data.
Apply advanced SQL to query and manipulate relational databases, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.
Develop scripts and automations in Python, using pandas and other libraries for data transformation and analysis.
Actively participate in agile and project management methodologies, ensuring that deliveries are made within established deadlines and requirements.
Work in a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and continually seeking to improve the team's practices and tools.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS…
Advanced SQL and experience in relational databases.
Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level), to interact with international teams.
Mastery of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, among others).
Experience with visualization tools: Tableau (essential), Power BI, and Looker Studio.
Ability to write scripts in Python, especially with the pandas library for data transformation and analysis.
Experience in agile methodologies and project management tools.
Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data integration techniques.
Experience in good data governance practices.
DESIRABLE:
Knowledge of business data and report analysis.
Familiarity with other cloud environments.
Familiarity with CDP, especially Salesforce
