Senior Program Manager

Job Description

Responsible for managing overall Iron Mountain project and program delivery including: scope, client management / interaction, timeline, budget, resource utilization and risk mitigation. Each program manager within Professional Services is the key point of contact for day-to-day activity, internal and customer communications and should have extensive experience working with external clients and presenting to executive management. Across each account / project, the program manager will work with the Client Principals, Solution Architects and individual workstream leads to create a program to deliver against the scope of work created by the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fluent in English, Ara

  • Creation and management of the program plan and key milestones.

  • Organizing, attending & chairing the daily meetings to assign work items

  • Management of customer relationship throughout the execution of the program’s delivery timeline

  • Presentation to customer stakeholders and internal Iron Mountain stakeholders summarizing program progress and KPIs

  • Create and manage project governance documentation including RAID logs, project status reports and comprehensive implementation plans.

  • Providing routine status reporting to the Professional Services Director and Professional Services leads as well as routine updates to the client

  • Management of new work item ticket creation throughout the project and allocation of resources against.

  • Manage delivery team to achieve program objectives and milestones aligned to customer’s expectations

  • Monitor the staff utilization without time management software

  • Manage JIRA boards, epics and stories

  • Responsible for the creation of the kanban cards for daily management of tasks.

Core Skills

  • Significant experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects.

  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects to agreed time, cost, quality and scope parameters

  • Familiarity with delivery requirements, acceptance criteria and testing

  • Software delivery experience

  • Expertise in creating detailed project plans and owning the successful delivery of project plans end to end

  • Working knowledge and experience of both agile and waterfall methodologies

  • Ability to constantly multi-task, and prioritize own and others work according to a changing business environment

  • Strong stakeholder communications, reporting weekly and daily to senior management

  • Management of cross-functional teams, leading daily and weekly scrum meetings.

  • Experience working with project management software

Secondary Skills

  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbally; at all levels of the organization with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Management and creation of user stories for ‘experience’ epics.

  • Ability to build solid relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage matrix based teams, both internally and client side to meet.
