What you’ll do
- Regional functional front line manager and leader. Manage the full life-cycle of the payroll, time and attendance systems across multiple geographies to ensure employee records are current and accurate
- Manages the day-to-day/BAU preparation of payroll reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual year-end reports, periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions.
- Critically reviews and analyzes current practices and identifies process improvements leading to best practice operations; enforces established payroll-related policies and regulations; updates policies as legal requirements change.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Works alongside with the global payroll manager to plan and manage local compliance, audits and business-related filings.
- Partners with other functions on the People and HRIS teams, providing functional and feature requirements for Workday,
- Represents the payroll team in various HQ projects that require payroll/time and attendance reporting, including gathering specific data monthly, quarterly and annual audits and reports.
- Exhibits advanced to expert knowledge across multiple payroll functions, systems, and processes and produces recommendations that drive efficiencies.
- Sets and articulates expectations around leadership behavior for team; models behavior that exemplifies the Mind Sets.
- Mentors, manages and/or develops L1-L3 team members, and is responsible for providing direction and oversight to setting goals and career development for direct reports.
What we’re looking for
- 5-7 years in domain experience; relevant Work Experience: 7-10 years
- People management experience is required
- Knowledge of ADP
- Knowledge of general ledger
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Quick learner and able to apply knowledge learned to future projects
