Job Summary:

We are looking for a People/Data Analyst to join our People Operations team. In this role, you will use data-driven insights to support our HR strategy and processes. Your work will focus on collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key employee metrics, identifying trends, and helping the business make data-informed decisions to improve employee experience and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-4 years of experience in data analysis, HR, or a related field, looking to expand their career in People Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management:

  • Gather, clean, and organize HR-related data from various internal systems (e.g., employee engagement surveys, turnover rates, performance reviews, compensation data, etc.).
  • Assist in building and maintaining employee databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Develop and generate regular and ad hoc reports on key people metrics such as headcount, attrition, hiring trends, and workforce demographics.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations that provide leadership with actionable insights.

Trend Analysis & Insights:

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the People Operations team to improve recruitment, retention, and overall employee satisfaction.

Support HR Decision-Making:

  • Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, and Business Leaders to understand their people-related challenges and provide data to guide decision-making.
  • Assist in benchmarking studies, compensation analysis, and workforce planning efforts.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within People Operations and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Continuously improve data management and reporting processes, ensuring they are scalable as the company grows.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Science, or related field. (Masters Preferred)
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in a data analytics, HR, or People Operations role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other querying languages is preferred but not required.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data insights in a simple and clear manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing data-driven solutions.
  • Teamwork: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
