As a Financial Analyst on the Financial Reporting team, you will be an integral member of a strong finance team! You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, while driving continuous improvement to reporting, payment, and receivable processes. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and will work with every other department in the business.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Participate in and help execute daily finance and accounting operations
• Assist in monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting, helping with account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Support the implementation and integrations of new systems and productivity tools, improve checks and balances, and enhance controls
• Help develop and document financial processes and controls that align with Clearco’s growth
• Continuously evaluate new ways to improve efficiencies, reporting, processes etc.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required

You will thrive if you have the following:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in financial reporting
• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance
• Enrolment in the CPA designation program
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Stellar time management and organizational skills - you can prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• A strong attention-to-detail - you take pride in knowing all the details and are obsessed with accuracy
• An analytical mindset - you love working with numbers!
• Problem-solver abilities - you are not afraid to think outside of the box and think of better solutions and/or processes
• Proficiency in Excel with a propensity to create and automate manual processes
