Role Overview

  • Support the Systems Engineering design, development, integration, and test of cutting-edge sensor systems
  • Conduct rigorous testing in labs or field environments to verify the system performs according to specifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of Advanced Sensor Systems
  • Design and simulate sensor hardware and software components, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, signal processors, and data processing algorithms.
  • Support the design and development of radar modes and algorithms
  • Support and Lead System trade studies in support of the development of Sensor systems
  • Support System I&T (Integration and Testing)
  • Conduct integration, verification, and testing in the lab or the field to ensure the system performs according to specifications
  • Support setup and configuration of system hardware components
  • Work full-time onsite out of our office in Hermosa Beach, CA

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or another related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Sensor Systems (Radar, Imaging, EO/IR, Acoustics, EW, etc.)
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, MATLAB, or C++
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail: A commitment to quality and a keen eye for catching errors

Preferred Requirements

  • Systems Engineering experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Systems
  • Strong foundation in radar principles and systems engineering
  • Proficiency in signal processing techniques, including modulation, filtering, and detection
  • Experience with Signal Processing and/or Data Analysis
  • Experience with System Integration and Test

Salary range: $110k - $240k

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
