Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Administrator to manage & facilitate various HR processes to help support our growing global organization. As an HR Administrator, you’ll work closely to support, assess and anticipate the specific needs of our team members throughout their employee experience lifecycle. In this role, you’ll form strong partnerships across the company to deliver solutions in various realms under the HR umbrella!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for employees’ HR-related questions such as Benefits administration, HRIS navigation, employee relations, policy interpretation, employment law, conflict resolution, change management, performance management, and individual/team development
  • Contribute to the development and interpretation of guidelines, policies and practices that impact our employees
  • Navigate, investigate and resolve employee relations issues and proactively look for themes by using quantitative and qualitative data to anticipate people needs; partner with Leadership team on solutions and implementation
  • Serve as the primary contact to our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) to manage employee files, company Benefits selection & renewals, integrations, etc.
  • Partner with Recruiting and Operations to continue building world-class onboarding experiences for internal teams and new hires
  • Own and facilitate all offboarding processes for voluntary and involuntary terminations
  • Manage HR projects and programs such as performance management/reviews, promotion & merit increase facilitation, and employee leave policies including sick time and PTO
  • Model and reinforce our cultural values
  • Serve as accountable person ensuring lawful & compliant employment practices in our various office & remote work locations, both domestically and internationally (CA, CO, DC, FL, NY, TX, WA + UK)
  • Work full-time onsite out of our office in Los Angeles, California

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar Human Resources position at a start-up or high-growth company
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to design and deploy HR systems & processes in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compliance, career development, onboarding, etc.
  • Solid experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Capable of shifting seamlessly between strategic program implementation and addressing the detailed, day-to-day tasks of a fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to thrive in a role where you can build policies, procedures and programs from the ground-up
  • Experience creating and pitching HR-related data-driven recommendations to members of leadership
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience and motivation to build strong relationships and trust at all levels across the company
  • Expert at developing communications for verbal, written, and presentation formats; ability to synthesize complex information and speak effectively to different audiences
  • Experience working with and knowledge of multi-state (CA, CO, DC, FL, NY, TX, WA) & global (UK) employment laws and practices

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field
  • SHRM certification

Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
