Skills and Competencies
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering or integration development, with at least 3 years focused on MuleSoft. Experience in SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, development, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Java, Java Scripting, DataWeave and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to design and implement efficient integration solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and troubleshooting RESTful services.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors using MuleSoft connectors, APIs, and event-driven patterns in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and services, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Ability to optimize MuleSoft flows for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to convey complex integration concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to enable reliable data exchange across business systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust MuleSoft and BTP integrations and APIs to support business-critical applications and data flows.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Build and maintain integration infrastructure on MuleSoft and BTP, leveraging best practices for security and scalability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, patterns, and documentation across the organization.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing on integration best practices.
  • Stay current with MuleSoft product enhancements and industry trends in integration and API management.
  • Promote responsible integration practices, including proper data handling, risk management, and adherence to compliance and security standards.

The Corporate Systems team, part of the Technology Services Group, supports Moody’s core business and technology operations by enabling reliable day‑to‑day execution, strong coordination, and effective governance across corporate platforms and shared services. The team partners closely with senior leaders, product teams, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive operational excellence while advancing innovation, including the adoption of AI‑driven capabilities. By bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to complex environments, the Corporate Systems team ensures that Moody’s systems remain resilient, scalable, and positioned for continued growth.
