Regional Sales Director
Location: Remote in Canada


About the Position:
As the Regional Sales Director, you will lead the sales territory and organization focused on both SMCs and Enterprise clients. Your responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies tailored to these segments, driving team success, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills, a passion for security solutions, and a deep understanding of both SMC and Enterprise market challenges.

You will manage SMC and Enterprise sellers, supporting growth and sales strategy development. Your role involves collaborating with field sellers, sales engineers, channel account executives, and business development representatives.

A successful candidate will be hands-on in driving pipeline and revenue growth, maximizing profits, expanding the customer base, penetrating new markets, and maintaining a culture of success that aligns with BlueVoyant’s strategic vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop SMC and Enterprise-focused plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key Canadian partners and clients.
  • Lead strategic and tactical plans execution to achieve growth and business goals in assigned regions.
  • Implement and execute go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide direction and hold staff accountable for growth.
  • Identify resources needed for team performance goals.
  • Hire the right people and provide continuous growth and development.
  • Oversee territory sales analytics, reporting cadence, and detailed sales forecasts.
  • Track team performance metrics and review cadence.
  • Define and oversee sales compensation and incentive programs.
  • Develop and support strategic partnerships and channels.
  • Influence internal and external decision-makers to enhance processes and systems.
  • Ensure department budget alignment with targets.
  • Continuously improve tools, technology, and processes.
  • Contribute to high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing to establish effective programs.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in SMC and Enterprise segments with a proven track record in leading successful sales teams.
  • Ability to create and articulate program and execution strategies.
  • Proven ability to deliver sustainable sales results.
  • Proven sales success through channel partner programs and direct sales.
  • Consistent achievement of objectives and revenue targets.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure and cybersecurity industry.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the Canada and US cyber market.
  • Successful team-building background.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate work needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Sales and management experience focused on Canada and the United States.
  • 5+ years of account management experience with a focus on pipeline growth and expansion.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, preferably Managed Security Services.
  • 5+ years of professional management experience.
  • Experience in B2B channel-based cybersecurity sales.
  • Experience with both field and inside sales organizations.
  • CRM utilization for managing team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data.
  • Experience managing sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, MEDDPICC).
