Product Manager
Location: Remote in the United States
The Role:
BlueVoyant is seeking a Product Manager to join the Product Management team. The PM plays a primary role within BlueVoyant’s product development lifecycle, using creative thinking, market awareness, and technical acumen to develop products that will defend our enterprise and government customers from cyberattacks.
You will work closely with the Senior Director, Product Management through all stages of the product development lifecycle from ideation to develop the next generation of BlueVoyant security solutions for our customers.
Our ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of developing and launching platform-based software products in the cybersecurity market and is excited about the opportunity to innovate on our next generation technologies. You have an eye for the big picture and are comfortable with taking a leadership role in driving projects with cross-functional team members. We are seeking a technically trained PM who is comfortable engaging with development and engineering teams at a detailed level to develop features that solve complex cybersecurity challenges.
BlueVoyant’s product strategy is fundamentally centered on using data and automation to build highly scalable platforms to serve our customers. The products and solutions you will build in this role enhance our Platform and Services, delivering security value to customers directly as holistic, comprehensive solutions.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Managed Services, and Professional Services teams to design and iterate on product features.
- Work with Marketing and Sales teams on go-to-market strategies and support customer engagement.
- Engage directly with customers and collaborate with Customer Success to understand their pain points and ensure solutions effectively address their needs.
- Lead feasibility assessments for new features, utilizing market insights to focus on enhancing user experience and delivering added value.
- Continuously assess and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including market requirements, product requirements, user stories, competitive analyses, go-to-market plans, and roadmaps. Assist in developing and delivering stakeholder presentations.
- Develop and drive the vision and strategy for platform and service capabilities.
- Communicate detailed product roadmaps aligned with BlueVoyant’s objectives.
Qualifications - Experience in the cybersecurity industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience with one or more of the following domains: Asset Management, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Compliance Assessments, Risk Assessments, Security Governance, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management (CIEM), and/or Data Protection.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Competencies - Experience developing products for the cybersecurity market.
- Experience with Product Management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Familiarity with security technologies (M365 Defender, Splunk, Qualys, Wiz, etc.).
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines and microservice architectures.
- Experience running complex queries on large datasets (KQL, Lucene, etc.).
- Cybersecurity certifications are desirable but not required.
