The Role:

As a Jr. Data Analyst, you will take the participate in significant new supplier illumination and supply system mapping endeavors. You will work with clients to understand their challenges and gaps, developing data-driven solutions. You will access a wide variety of data sources and provide best in class analysis and presentation, to enable our clients to proactively defend their supply chains.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Take part in product deployment efforts including supplier illumination and system-supplier mapping
  • Process client requirements and develop data products and solutions
  • Perform research and analysis on defense, space, and adjacent markets, supply chains, and vendors
  • Work with teammates to understand available data sources, identify gaps in data, and develop solutions to account for gaps
  • Present data results for clients in a meaningful way using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Investigate adversarial supply chains to gain deep understanding of relationships amongst sub-tier vendors or market
  • Generate network diagrams using data visualization tools (Neo4J) to illustrate illuminations and supplier mappings.

  • Demonstrated interest in issues at the intersection of national security, business, and technology
  • An analytical mind and passion for creative problem-solving
  • Self-starter with the ability to understand and develop solutions to unstructured client problems
  • Research skills with experience conducting and presenting structured analysis
  • Ability to contribute to product demos
  • Commitment to self-improvement and growth mindset
  • Care for the quality of your work and the wellbeing of those around you
Preferred Competencies:
  • Background in defense contracting, or supply chain management.
  • Deep aerospace, defense and/or federal government knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in data science (particularly in querying large data sets and transcribing information into meaningful insights.)
  • Familiarity with Python and other data science languages, with a desire to learn more advanced technical skills.
