Duties:

• For Blink Health’s RxOS platform, this role will help and lead the deployment of new products and features, successfully leveraging their understanding of distributed systems,
  mentorship of junior staff, and command of technical organizational resources to deliver our products and amazing experiences for our patients.
• Fix performance issues and debug production code of a highly complex distributed platform.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers to reach individual goals while fostering cross-functional collaboration and product success.
• Perform peer code and system architecture reviews.
• Build and code new features, create unit tests, and lead the release of these features to production.
• Develop and A/B tests new ReactJS components to improve our user experience.
• Ability to solve and build for complex technical problem through system design, communication, and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation to fix urgent issues or escalate them appropriately for quick resolution and improve our automated
  procedures (runbook) for improved production success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and document new systems.

Requirements:

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or its foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Developer,
  or related occupation.
• Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • software engineering role building consumer facing products;
  • owning features from design through delivery to production;
  • utilizing modern program languages such as Python, Java, or similar; diving into a large code base and contributing immediately;
  • writing code that is understandable, maintainable, and testable;
  • designing scalable APIs and elegant front-end code; and ReactJS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Telecommuting (remote work) is permitted.

Anticipated salary range for role: $142,830 to $188,535 per year.
