Unlike traditional sportsbooks, where users are limited to traditional event outcome-based bets (over/under, moneyline, spread, etc.), Betr allows it's fans to bet on every moment within a game or event, start to finish: every play and drive, shot and possession, pitch and at-bat, and more! About the role:
The Betr team is looking for a Head of Growth to lead us to revenue and profits. Reporting into our Head of Gaming, you will be instrumental in helping Betr reach our ambitious growth targets. You will orchestrate our efforts in customer acquisition, retention, and marketing technology. You’ll own and execute our acquisition strategies end-to-end, from driving top-of-funnel traffic to improving down-funnel conversion across channels including community, SEO optimization, referral programs, affiliate partnerships, paid advertising, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization. The Head of Growth will develop and oversee the implementation of growth strategies across all verticals, with focus on Fantasy & Real Money Gaming.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute web, SMS, and email experiments to improve conversion rates, working closely with design, media, product, and engineering
  • Develop and execute other creative marketing strategies to ensure our user acquisition volumes meets our growth goals
  • Create dashboards and reports to measure and clearly communicate growth performance and develop new strategies based on findings
  • Identify target audience, user engagement, acquisition, retention and recovery
  • Plan, run, and optimize campaigns in compliance with all regulatory and responsible gaming guidelines.
  • Rapidly grow high quality users that will repeatedly use our product at a lowest CAC possible
  • Employ a data-driven approach to measuring success across both performance and brand channels

About You:

  • 6-10 years of experience in growth marketing, ideally focused on acquisition at a high-growth startup in the sports betting space
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment and are not intimidated by ambiguity or change
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • You take pride in being reliable and hitting deadlines, and you hold yourself to a high standard of excellence.
  • Experience creating company and product market positioning strategies
  • Customer-obsessed and analytical mindset, highly quantitative & detail oriented
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational skills, the ability to be flexible, & prioritize responsibilities
