ABOUT THE TEAM
The Bestow Revenue team is on a mission to transform the Life Insurance industry by providing insurance carriers with the technology platform to innovate and improve their products and distribution. Our end-to-end Enterprise SaaS platform allows carriers to rapidly stand up fully customized life insurance products, offer their customers and advisors a cutting-edge experience, and grow their business through continuous testing and iteration. ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the life insurance industry, strong technical acumen, and excellent communication skills. As a Solutions Engineer at Bestow, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our software products and our life insurance carrier customers' unique needs, accelerating our discovery process, and enabling our sales and product teams.
This role reports to Bestow’s VP, Partner Success & Strategic Partnerships, and is open to Dallas, TX, or REMOTE (US).

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Engage with clients to deeply understand their business processes, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments through meetings, interviews, and workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Product Managers to document and translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Liaise between clients, sales & success teams, and product/ engineering teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals and timelines for discovery.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to understand client requirements and present tailored software solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations to showcase the value of our solutions to prospective clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical insights and recommendations to address their challenges.
  • As needed, provide training and support to clients, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the benefits of our software solutions.
  • Support discovery process with internal teams, ensuring that the right stakeholders are brought in to complete requirements-gathering
  • Prepare detailed documentation throughout the sales and discovery process to accelerate Bestow delivery teams.’
  • Collaborate closely with product management to document requirements and generate potential solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date plans to complete discovery/requirements gathering for each assigned opportunity.
  • Build and maintain partner-facing artifacts to aid discovery and requirements-gathering efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

YOUR EXERIENCE

  • 5+ years experience as a Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant or other similar role in B2B enterprise software
  • Success working with large enterprise B2B clients, particularly in financial services or other complex and/or heavily regulated industries
  • Deep knowledge of the life insurance industry, including key processes, regulatory requirements, market trends, and existing systems
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in high-level software design & architecture (both front end and back-end) and systems integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and flexibly
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
