Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to push the boundaries of network innovation? We’re seeking a talented Staff Cloud Test Engineer to join our team and help drive excellence in our cloud-defined network software.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Staff Cloud Test Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS products. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies that keep our cloud solutions at peak performance. This is a hybrid work environment in Santa Clara, CA.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Drive innovation through rigorous testing and analysis of new features and products
- Implement a 100% automation strategy to accelerate our development and release cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product designs based on test outcomes
- Build and manage lab environments that simulate complex customer networking configurations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in QA testing in networking-focused roles
- Strong understanding of network protocols, especially BGP
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
- Expertise in Linux environments and scripting (Python, Shell)
- Proficiency in coding in Golang (preferred)
- Experience with:
- Kubernetes and microservices architectures
- Workflow orchestration
- Database systems
- Proficiency in various testing techniques:
- Functional testing
- Performance testing
- Stress testing
- Security testing
- Integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- API testing
- Regression testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in test automation for SaaS development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

US Pay Range
The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000-$220,000 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. [Certain roles are eligible to earn sales commission, depending on the terms of the applicable plan.] The range displayed is the minimum and maximum target base salary and is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
