Overview

Augment is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Contract Recruiting Coordinator / Scheduler to support our hiring operations. In this role, you will own the interview scheduling process, facilitate seamless communication between candidates and hiring teams, and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.

This is a contract role based in Chicago. Candidates must be willing to commute and work onsite at our office.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage interview scheduling across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless coordination between candidates and interviewers.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate hiring processes and optimize scheduling efficiency.

  • Support various HR-related activities and office operations as needed.

  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when managing candidate information, interview logistics, and scheduling updates.

  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively to keep the hiring process running smoothly.

  • Maintain recruiting data and documentation, ensuring records are up-to-date and organized.

  • Support additional recruiting operations projects as needed to enhance process efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be located in Chicago and willing to work onsite.

  • 1+ years of experience in scheduling, recruiting coordination, or project management.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.

  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address scheduling challenges.

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience in talent acquisition or HR operations.

  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, Ashby and scheduling platforms.

  • Training or experience in project management methodologies.
