We are looking for a PCBA Rework Technician to join our team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute and support assigned tasks and project activities with the accountability for successful completion of assigned deliverables.
- Support engineering activities such as PCBA prototypes, sub-assemblies and cable build under the guidance of engineers
- Perform work using drawings, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts or defined plans
- Procure and source electrical components under the direction of lead and engineers as required
- The candidate will be responsible for performing rework and repair on printed circuit boards (PCBs) assembly to industry IPC standards
- PCBA Rework and Repair: Perform detailed rework and repair tasks on PCBA board, including but not limited to, component removal and replacement, reflow processes, and trace/pad repair
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience working on PCBA assemblies and rework
- Able to hand solder PCBAs per J-STD / IPC-A-610 / IPC 7711
- previous work reading and understand complex PCBA schematics
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform quality inspections on PCBA
- Familiar working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
- Familiarity with troubleshooting harness builds and PCBA
- Experience with task management software such as Trello or JIRA
- Wire harness experience in accordance with IPC-A-620 standards
- Willing to work overtime, and weekends, as needed
US Hourly Range
$26—$46 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
