As our team continues to grow quickly, we are looking for motivated candidates that are inspired to work within an extremely energetic, creative, and innovative team that is passionate about subsea robotics and exploring the open ocean. We work in a highly dynamic environment where collaboration and idea sharing are a way of life. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee an upcoming large underwater vehicle program.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop, run and maintain Cost - Schedule - Performance of Large Acquisition Program in concert with a Navy Program Office and across Navy Stakeholders on the Program
  • Support detailed scoping and planning efforts for proposals and new start programs, including capturing strategic initiatives, generating milestones for delivery and technical readiness, formalizing deliverables and customer handover packages, and budgeting for labor and material expenditures planned throughout development and demonstration program phases.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with critical service and program office stakeholders to ensure successful milestone completions and drive the Program from Prototyping in Production Phases
  • Serve as a senior PM leader for programs critical to future Anduril’s Maritime’s long term success, and work closely with the Growth and Engineering teams on current and upcoming Defense Programs
  • Develop and Implement Acquisition Schedules along Middle Tier Acquisition Pathways and mature the capabilities into ACAT/MDAP
  • Collaborate closely with growth and engineering leads to develop and execute coordinated approaches to new business opportunities in which defense customers require products from across Anduril. Support the definition of high-level system designs and architecture for future vehicle and payload programs
  • Lead formal testing efforts by identifying strategic initiatives, estimating resources needed, and supporting mobilization logistics. Coordinate test execution with 3rd party vendors and partners.
  • Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Travel to support customer meetings and testing approximately 25% of the time


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate will be a proven strategic growth leader who has demonstrated experience in leading ACAT I or ACAT II programs, both hardware and software, with an emphasis on the US Navy as customer
  • Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions, with a history of zero-to-one defense program growth a plus
  • Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of developing and deploying autonomous weapon systems
  • Demonstrated high-energy, high-ownership leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment, and be able to build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to market
  • Excellent writing, communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS/SCI Security clearance
  • Ability to support travel up to 25% as required to meet customer needs and/or support field work


ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Program Management, Acquisitions or Resource Sponsor experience in the government and/or private sector
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field and a passion for robotics and/or system development
  • Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, and requirements generation for the purposes of transitioning prototype capabilities to production - DAWIA certifications - past experience with FAR / OTA / MTA desired
US Salary Range
$168,000$252,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
