  • Assemble and perform precision rework on PCBAs and micro-electrical assemblies, adhering to J-STD-001 standards and ESD control protocols.
  • Fabricate intricate wiring harnesses and electrical interconnects, ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 specifications and strict ESD regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex avionics and micro-electrical components, applying expert electrical knowledge and ESD safety practices.
  • Uphold a clean and orderly work environment, diligently following ESD control measures to safeguard sensitive micro-electronics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in assembly processes and ensure the integrity of micro-electrical systems.
  • Document detailed production processes and quality assurance activities, maintaining a high standard of traceability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Regularly participate in training and certification programs to stay current with best practices in J-STD-001, ESD control, and micro-electronics assembly.
  • Assist in the development of production work instructions and provide guidance to new technicians, with a focus on ESD safety and micro-assembly techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology, or a related technical field, with an emphasis on micro-electronics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, including soldering and rework of micro-electrical assemblies in an ESD-controlled environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions for micro-electronics.
  • Demonstrated application of ESD control measures in handling micro-electrical components and assemblies.
  • Strong focus on quality, precision, and attention to the smallest details.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current J-STD-001 certification, including the ESD Control for Electronics Assembly addendum.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications, with experience in micro-electronics and ESD control.
  • Previous experience with UAVs or autonomous systems, particularly involving micro-electrical systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and evolving production environment.
US Hourly Range
$26$40 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
